Spring Conference

The OCCA Spring Conference brings together over 350 P&C actuaries from across Ontario for a full day of learning, connection, and collaboration. Since 2009, our flagship event has showcased presentations and panels from industry leaders sharing insights into emerging trends and innovations in the P&C insurance industry. In doing so, they encourage our attendees to explore new ideas, deepen their understanding, and share best practices.

Beyond the sessions, the Spring Conference also creates space for connection. Attendees can meet and exchange ideas through shared meals, networking breaks, and the evening reception. The conference also offers avenues to get involved through volunteering and leadership, thereby allowing attendees to contribute, share their expertise, and have a recognized impact on the community as a whole.

Summer Social

The OCCA Summer Social is a relaxed, informal gathering that brings together P&C actuaries from across Ontario to connect, unwind, and strengthen the professional community. Unlike our more formal events, the Summer Social offers a fun and approachable environment where members can build relationships and enjoy the lighter side of the actuarial profession.

Whether you’re new to the profession or a seasoned actuary, our Summer Social provides an ideal opportunity to grow your network and engage with the broader Ontario P&C actuarial community.

Fall Conference

The OCCA Fall Conference offers a dedicated forum for P&C actuaries to delve into emerging trends and technical challenges shaping the industry. Tailored for an intimate audience of around 100 attendees, the conference not only presents OCCA’s new executive team, budget and financial priorities but also fosters dynamic discussions and hands-on engagement with complex actuarial topics, facilitated by leading subject-matter experts.

The Fall Conference offers an opportunity to build expertise, share knowledge, and collaborate within a close-knit professional community through interactive sessions, panels, and Q&A discussions.
