OCCA Sponsorship

Each year, OCCA partners with corporate sponsors to support our core events and initiatives. Sponsorship funding helps offset membership dues and event fees while enabling us to deliver high-quality programming across the actuarial community.

As of 2023, OCCA adopted an annual sponsorship model, where each sponsorship level covers all OCCA events within a calendar year, including:

  • Spring Conference

  • Summer Social Event

  • Fall Meeting

Below are the available sponsorship levels and the benefits included with each. All sponsorships are valid for the full calendar year.

    • Includes:

      • Ability to nominate an emerging leader to join the OCCA Spring Conference organizing committee

      • Company logo included in event promotional materials

      • Branding on the OCCA website for the duration of the sponsorship

      • Inclusion in all OCCA email distributions

      • Acknowledgement at the beginning and end of OCCA events

    • Availability: Unlimited

    • Price: $3,250

    • Includes:

      • All Bronze Sponsorship benefits

      • 2 job postings on the OCCA website

        • Each posting active for 3 months

      • Promotion of job postings through:

        • OCCA social media channels

        • Regular OCCA email communications

    • Availability: Unlimited

    • Price: $4,250

    • Includes:

      • All Silver Sponsorship benefits

      • Right of first refusal for a presentation slot at the Spring Conference

      • 3 total job postings on the OCCA website

        • Each posting active for 3 months

        • Promoted via social media and email communications

      • Option to set up a booth in the reception hall to display promotional materials

    • Availability: Unlimited

    • Price: $6,350

    • Includes:

      • All Gold Sponsorship benefits

      • Exclusive sponsorship of one of the following:

        • Luncheon

        • Morning coffee break

        • Afternoon coffee break

        • After-hours event promotion

      • Acknowledgement of your company during:

        • Lunch break

        • Coffee and networking breaks

        • Or during after-hours event promotion

      • 4 total job postings on the OCCA website

        • Each posting active for 3 months

        • Promoted via social media and email communications

      • Priority registration for up to 50 participants

    • Availability: Limited to 3 sponsors (renewals receive priority)

    • Price: $9,000

    • Includes:

      • All Gold Sponsorship benefits

      • Exclusive sponsorship of the cocktail reception, including:

        • Company name and logo featured prominently

      • Acknowledgement of your company during the lunch break

      • 4 total job postings on the OCCA website

        • Each posting active for 3 months

        • Promoted via social media and email communications

      • Company logo displayed on presentation screens during the cocktail reception

      • Priority registration for up to 50 participants

    • Availability: Limited to 1 sponsor (renewals receive priority)

Scholarship Sponsorship

The OCCA Scholarship celebrates five exceptional students each year from actuarial science programs across Ontario. These students have not only achieved high academic success but also show a genuine passion for the property/casualty insurance industry. Each recipient receives $1,000 and an invitation to attend the OCCA Spring Conference and Fall Meeting as a guest of the executive committee.

Since 2022, we’ve opened the scholarship to corporate sponsorship, giving companies the chance to connect with bright, emerging talent and show support for the future of the actuarial profession. Each sponsor can support one scholarship per year, independent of OCCA’s other corporate sponsorship opportunities.
